Articulating Accessories – Fleximeter Strips & More
At Orien Dental Supplies, we’re proud to offer a selection of accessories that are useful for articulating applications. Among our range of accessories, you’ll find Fleximeter strips and the Aqua Splint mouth splint.
The Aqua Splint
The Aqua Splint is an innovative mouth splint that’s designed for treatment of TMD and orofacial pain. Providing immediate relief, it consists of 2 water pads that deliver a hydrostatic effect, placing the mandible in a position that’s ideally balanced. Self-adjusting and able to be fitted within minutes, each mouth splint has a 4 to 6 week lifespan when worn for 10 hours per day.
Fleximeter Strips
Useful for measuring the height of grinding teeth for restoration purposes, Fleximeter strips from Bausch are available in three varying thicknesses and are constructed from autoclavable silicone rubber. Each thickness is colour coded for convenience, with pink, green and blue Fleximeter strips available for purchase.
